SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING:

– Charge only rechargeable alkaline, nickel metal hydride

(NiMH) and nickel cadmium (NiCd) battery chemistry

types.

– Never charge regular, single-use alkaline batteries

– Do not charge AA and AAA batteries together in the same

battery compartment.

– Charging the wrong batteries in the charger or mixing

rechargable battery chemistries (NiMH, NiCd, etc.) in the

same compartment of the charger may cause them to

become hot, leak or rupture, causing personal injury.

– Batteries may become warm during charging. This is

normal.

– To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the charger

from the outlet before cleaning. Never immerse the

charger in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the

charger to rain or snow.

– Never disassemble the charger or alter the plug. Improper

reassembly or connection can result in the risk of electric

shock.

Limited Warranty – Rayovac

Battery Chargers are warranted to be

free of manufacturer defects for one full year from the date of original consumer

purchase. This warranty does not cover physical damage resulting from accident,

misuse or modification of the charger. If the product should become defective within

the warranty period, we will replace it free of charge if sent to: Spectrum Brands,

Inc., 601 Rayovac Dr., Madison, WI 53711-2497. Attention: Consumer Services.

THERE ARE NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES. All incidental and consequential

damages are excluded from this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion

or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or

exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you

may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
